We recently delivered our high end Yamaha Clavinova on hire to Glasgow for the BBC television show “Tonight’s the Night”. Our piano was played by Dionne Warwick as she dueted with a life long fan. The BBC told us that Dionne was very pleased with the Yamaha Clavinova digital piano.

Edinburgh Organ Studio also have a choice of portable pianos which people who are really pushed for space can put away in a cuboard or out the way.
For the more spacious surroundings we have some clavinovas, kawai and casio in the “standard size”cabinets and also baby digital grand pianos too which elegant cabinet style compliment any room or hall its placed in.

May 20th, 2010Learning to play the piano can be a daunting thought, thankfully though now there are fabulous ranges of piano books which make learning to play lots of fun.
For young beginners we suggest the John Thomson Easiest Piano Course. This course is designed and presented in the easiest possible way to learning piano, Its complete with an amusing family of characters and illustrations to help emphasise the information being taught. Each book of the course contains its own writing exercises, sightreading , review work and later in the series, technical studies. Accompaniments for teacher or parent are supplied with most of the examples to make learning fun.
For adults or teenagers,we suggest the Kenneth Baker Complete Piano Player series. This is the only piano course based throughout on today’s popular songs and on famous light classics. It has easy-to-follow text and clear demonstration diagrams enable the learner to progress in the shortest possible time to advanced playing.
